We have to engage the learners. And this is what made me believe in God’s Park. I saw this happening with my grandchildren in New York, aged 7 and 10 years old. When Lope showed them how to use God’s Park, they got so engaged that two hours passed by and they still did not want to stop watching, listening and playing in the GP app. I invited and encouraged Lope to bring the program to the Philippines and talk to the priests who are the hardest to convince.
Note: Sure enough, this invitation from Bishop Tobias jump started the spread of God’s Park in the Philippines. As of this writing, there are 18,000 Filipino children using God’s Park in faith formation classes and in the public school setting. Thanks to Bishop Tobias!
